Location: Arthur, IL
Structural Steel Checker – Full time position
Candidate will be responsible for checking drawings and models to ensure that they match contract drawings. Check drawings against specs, review to ensure that modeling and detailing followed AISC standards. Review to ensure that IBC codes, ADA codes, or OSHA codes are followed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Knowledge of AISC construction detailing design standards and guidelines Detail oriented.
- AutoCAD and SDS experience are a plus Review and interpret construction documents and shop drawings Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work in a collaborative environment or independently.
